? ? ? Do you just lay them on diffuser plate?Burn splits in the rec.
I split seasoned oak and mesquite about finger thickness. Then Layer pellets and broken up Kingsford charcoal. Light em. And put them under the grease pan. In front of the defuser.? ? ? Do you just lay them on diffuser plate?

I did get a little grease fire today. Prob will keep them on top of the grate for now on. Lol. Great flavor though!I split seasoned oak and mesquite about finger thickness. Then Layer pellets and broken up Kingsford charcoal. Light em. And put them under the grease pan. In front of the defuser.

Lower the temp for the first couple hours of cook and try using wood chips on diffuser. Pellet tube work also if you need more. Also make sure you use quality pellets... not all pellets give good smoke. I like lumberjack.I did get a little grease fire today. Prob will keep them on top of the grate for now on. Lol.
