I have also noted the difference in prices. Often the dark meat is fattier and considered less healthy because of the fat content and is cheaper. Chicken breasts are the usually more per pound than the other parts. Either way, the pooch will be very happy, lol.Speaking of fowl, I noted that Costco had chicken thighs for $1.49/lb and the whole chickens were about twice that price or more. Since I was buying for supplementing my dog's dry food, I went with the thighs. They de-bone way easier anyway. A half restaurant tray full of them for 2 1/2 hrs/350F and they are fall off the bone.
