Tonight I sealed my lid with Fireblack 1/2”x1/8” high temp gasket, and sealed around my smoke vents with red high temp RTV. Previously I was getting a lot of smoke leaking from around the lid, which was letting the top of the cook chamber get filthy after only a couple cooks. I haven’t cooked on it yet, but did a test run at 180 degrees and got zero leakage around the lid or the smoke vents. Seems to have worked really well and held 180 just fine!
