Country Fried Steak Nuggets

Ingredients:

Wet Marinade:
  • 4 lbs Cubed Steak
  • 3 cups Buttermilk
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 T Hot Sauce
  • 4 T Rays Front Row Master Blend
  • 1 T Coarse Black Pepper
Seasoned Dredge:
  • 4 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 T Ben’s Heffer Dust
  • 1 T Coarse Black Pepper

Method:
  1. In a large sized bowl, combine the first 5 listed ingredients.
  2. Cut cubed steak into 2”x2” nuggets and add to wet marinade. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
  3. In the REC TEC Matador, preheat the oil to 350ºF.
  4. Remove the nuggets form the wet marinade and dredge in the seasoned dredge mixture.
  5. Fry until nuggets are cooked through and golden brown, approximately 5-7 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to remove excess grease.
  7. Serve with peppered gravy (See “Peppered Country Style Gravy in our Notes section). Enjoy!

Note: This recipe works great with venison also!
