Ingredients:
Wet Marinade:
- 4 lbs Cubed Steak
- 3 cups Buttermilk
- 3 Eggs
- 2 T Hot Sauce
- 4 T Rays Front Row Master Blend
- 1 T Coarse Black Pepper
- 4 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 T Ben’s Heffer Dust
- 1 T Coarse Black Pepper
Method:
- In a large sized bowl, combine the first 5 listed ingredients.
- Cut cubed steak into 2”x2” nuggets and add to wet marinade. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
- In the REC TEC Matador, preheat the oil to 350ºF.
- Remove the nuggets form the wet marinade and dredge in the seasoned dredge mixture.
- Fry until nuggets are cooked through and golden brown, approximately 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from the oil and place on paper towels to remove excess grease.
- Serve with peppered gravy (See “Peppered Country Style Gravy in our Notes section). Enjoy!
Note: This recipe works great with venison also!
