Portable 340 - RV game changer?

I have a RT700 that I'd been considering taking along on RV trips, but with the new 340 'Road Warrior', I'm thinking that might be the way to go. I mostly use the Bull for smoking, and I'm curious just how well the 340 works as a smoker. It would just be for me and my wife, so the smaller...

    Grill Grates questions

Hiya folks, When I bought my Rec Tec Bull, I opted for 3, interlocking Grill Grates that they recommend for searing. I figured what the hell. So I've tried them on the Rec Tec. Ran the pit temp up to about 475, put a couple ribeyes on, and was very dissappointed in the overall function. I wound...

Bull Anyone make a Bull Medallion Trailer hitch cover?

The more I look at it, I think it'd be perfect to cover a receiver hitch.

Bull Temp probe check mostly successful

Did the ice water test with both meat probes and a known good ET-73 smoker probe. All three probes were within one degree of each other at 33-34 degrees. That's close enough for government work. So then I did a 250* test with the three probes and the built in pit probe. Here's where the...

Bull New RT-700 Owner!!! First burn.

I'm sure you regulars have heard this a million times, but I got it all put together, did the initial burn. Initially it took a long while to come off of about 145* and continue on up to 400. I'm assuming that was auger playing catchup. Once it started feeding though, right up to 400, rock...

Pallet came to a shipping hub in Denver today. Couldn't get it out here till Wednesday. That crap don't fly. So I have a pallet of pellets and a big box in the back of my truck. Didn't think about how to get it out by myself... Anyone near Denver bored tonight? :)

Bull What width foil to cover the drip pan?

Looking over the instructions, I couldn't find the dimensions for the drip pan. Anyone know off hand what fits best? I did read not to over lay the sides, that it could interrupt air flow.

Thought I'd done this already :)

Hi folks, Waiting on the RT-700 to arrive on Monday. Did the Amazon bundle with grill, cover, 200 lbs of pellets and two mats. Separately ordered grill grates, foil liner for the bucket, gasket for the lid, and the smoker tube. From my previous smokers (GOSM propane cabinet smoker, Stumps...

    Bull VERY Slow Bull...

Going to take a week from today to get here. In the mean time, I'm buying accessories and meat!! Plus cleaning off the patio where it's going to take the prime spot away from the Vermont Castings grill. Probably doing bacon to season it, and then two pork butts. The head chef might have...

    Bull Just pulled the trigger.

Hi everyone, I'm Kelly (Stars Fan In CO in other forums). I just did the Amazon bundle and a few accessories. I'm a long time smoker, (50" Lang, Stumps, GOSM), and griller (Vermont Castings, Weber and some home made stuff growing up in West Texas). I turn 53 this coming June, and I'm tired of...
