Stampede Custom Front Folding Shelf

I have decided to install a custom front folding shelf for my Stampede. Does anyone know a wood worker that could make me a shelf? I am not sure what kind of wood or finish. Doesn’t need to be real fancy. I figure a good size would be 30 x 12 x ½ or ¾ inch. Here are the brackets I want to use.

WOW, looks nice. Here is my folding shelf. 32 x 1 x 11-1/8” Douglas Fir stained it with clear gloss Sparurethane.

Looks nice but that shelf is very wide do you find it difficult to reach over it to get to the grill?

Thanks for the compliment. I have no difficulty reaching the grill at all. Oftentimes I set a 13 x 18 sheet pan on the table with my fixings and I still have room to spare. The cup holder clears the leg and the cover still fits very well.
