Try one of these
Set it next to the RecTeq's Internal Temp Probe and use a mid-range Set Temp like 250:

That will also work but it blows a perfectly good excuse to buy a high-end unit with multiple probes.

Yup, perfect and predictable cooking was my excuse until my wife said, "I guess you need to get your son in law one too for his Recteq."

So basically my toy/tool cost me double the price. I still like it though.
