Bull Inner Lid Drip Shield sketch?

I know a fab shop that could laser cut then bend this in a press. Realistically how much demand is there for this? I could have them quote a quantity on Monday. Shipping would be the biggest pain.

If it's plug and play, i.e. holes pre-drilled and ready to go I think there would be takers.

It keeps the grease and moisture build up inside the smoker,Instead of seeping out the bottom of the lid at the overhang. (Keeps the front stainless clean)

Not to be brash, but if you want your cooker to look like it may never been cooked on, then good. If you don’t mind it looking like something that cooks food on the reg then good. More so a personal preference in my opinion.

I have 2 quick questions. Have you tried out the drip shield yet? What kind of RTV should I use? Should it be food grade not sire if it even matters.

Does anyone have the measurements of placement of the piece and how far in and up the holes need to be drilled? And space between the 2 holes?
Already have the piece cut to length just have to get the drilling done and mount

I am going to curse myself, but.....instead of the drip shield, I am going to make something more like (ok, almost exactly like) the Grilla Grill drip tray. I used a few pieces of scrap metal today to test it and am satisfied that it will be fairly easy to make. I will be making it tomorrow, so I will post pics of it when done, and try to remember to snap a few while doing it.
