Bullseye Bullseye Griddle Seasoning Question

I am seasoning my griddle today and have a question. Did you apply oil to the heat side of the griddle like you did on the cook side?
I only want to do this once.

If it’s cast iron i would put it all over. Top,bottom and sides

Thanks! I finished the seasoning and it came out great. Did end up putting some oil on the bottom.
Started at 9 and finished around 3 that afternoon.

Will use it this weekend coming.

I did with mine. Every once in awhile I put another coat of oil on the backside b/c I had the same thought as others.
