I've tried the RecTeq Ultimate blend and Pit Boss competition blend on my 590 any recommendations or thoughts?

those are both fine pellets in my opinion. most people seem to like lumber jack and bear mtn the best. lumberjack is 8.99 a bag at rural king but often goes on sell for 6.88. i believe cabela’s pellets are made by lumberjack also and they are 9.99 normally and 7.99 on sell. you can often times get free shipping from cabela’s also with a $50 or more purchase

Lumberjack and RecTeq Ultimate blend are my two favorites right now.

Another LumberJack user here. 100% Hickory for me. I get mine at Atwoods Ranch and Home for about the same prices as Rural King.

You can also get them from Dick's and they supposedly will price match.
