Started a Test on how our Bull handles a 15 hour Brisket Cook, using Knotty Wood (Almond) Pellets
Here's our full Hopper last night:
And again this afternoon after an 8 hour on "LO" and 7 hours at 270:
Looks to be about 10+/- lbs of Pellets were used
Here's our Barrel with most of the Ash gone:
And again after the Cook:
Quite a bit of Ash
Maybe a little bit more than with the Camp Chef (Alder) we usually us, but not all that bad, considering Knotty Wood uses the whole Log, Bark and all
OH, and no real issues in the Fire Pot:
Now, is the added taste / smoke of these Pellets worth it .... we'll see
