Stampede Wife to the rescue

put on a chuck roast this morning before I left for work. Dry brined overnight, then some Heffer dust this morning.

Asked my wife to wrap it with butcher paper around lunchtime.

About 30 minutes later I saw through the app the temp was dropping. Asked her to look in the hopper.

She filled it back up and it got back up to temp in about 5 minutes.

She saved the day
Man I love the app....i mean her....

Would be nice but would likely need extra hardware to detect that condition.

On my Quadafire pellet stove insert there is a low pellet sensor but even when the hopper is full many times the wall mounted thermostat displays low on pellets. I see Weber installed one in on the Smokefire but haven't seen any reports on how it works yet.
