Bull Too Hot

Making jerky from flank steak. Outside temperature 88 and humidity 55%. RT700 set to low or 180. Could not keep cook temperature below 273.
Any suggestions?

Try lowering your feed rate down to 30 on your Bull and make sure to keep the lid shut and see if that helps.

I did lower the feed to 4.5 but did not see any results. Lid lowered at all times.

Try setting it at 30 or 3.0 on the app.

I had had same problem, Rec Tec suggested 3.0. I did and problem solved, so far. ??

I had the same issue, seems everyone is different. Even at 3.0 I could not get below 225, so rec tec sent me an updated firmware controller and I have it set at 1.5 And I sing at 180 ish all day long now.
