Stampede Standing Rib Roast

Just bought a 4.3lb standing rib roast that I am planning on smoking on my rec tec for Christmas Eve.....never done this before so if anyone has any step-by-step methods, I am all ears. Want to achieve a medium rare temp at the end of the day. Thanks in advance and Happy Holidays!

I just did a 7 lb Rib Roast Friday. Used Olive Oil as a binder, Seasoned with Meat Church Holy Cow and MC Herb Garlic Seasoning. After the roast reached room temp, I Placed in oven @ 500 degrees for 15 minutes and then place it on the RT 590 at 225. Pulled when internal temp was 120 (rare) pull at 130 no more for medium rare. I like rare meat and my wife said this was the best compared to cooking in the oven. Took less than 3 hours total time to cook.
