Went to Costco yesterday and picked-up a couple packs of Babybacks and a rack of Beefbacks
Today was the Babybacks
Cooked them as usual, but added Smoked Lard when I wrapped this go-round:

Turned out to be the best Babybacks we've smoked yet
Juicy, fall off the Bone tender

The Beefback will go on tomorrow

Interesting, and looks great. What made you think of adding smoked lard? I don't recall seeing that before. Did you find it kept them from drying out, and/or added smoky flavor?

Saw it on a YouTube Vid .... not sure who it was
They are far from dry but no real added taste
