It’s not chili season here, but I could go for some smoked brisket chili right now!

Thanks again JimLooks great and the Smoked Brisket Chili sounds like a winner
If you'll be in the Provo area this Friday, I'll see if I can set that upDoes the chili cook-off need a volunteer judge?

Beans? In Chili? Huh! Not in my back yard. Good thing the Ferrari was in the shop getting new tires; if I had been judging the the cook-off, the “Baked Bean Dish” would have been disqualified.Well, the Chili Cookoff went off with several entries
The top three where separated by one vote
First and a tie for Second
Then a "re-taste" for second and third
Momma got third
BUT, as it turns out .... She voted for the Second Place Dish
"But it had Bell Pepper in it, and you know how much I love Bell Pepper"
OK, if She had voted for Herself, She would have tied for first, and went up against; what She said was really a Baked Bean Dish, with Ham, Bacon and Ground Beef, not a Chili
So, they would have had a taste-off between: a "Baked Bean Dish" and Her Chili
Now if I do the math right. She should have won by the 2:1 margin
Well, at least She had fun
Here in Utah, they put Beans in Chili ....but I'm with you .... Baked Beans ain't ChiliBeans? In Chili? Huh! Not in my back yard. Good thing the Ferrari was in the shop getting new tires; if I had been judging the the cook-off, the “Baked Bean Dish” would have been disqualified.
