NY Strip Steaks bone-in

I bought a silicone/Teflon mat to cover the grease pan. Withstands up to 600 degrees. Cut it to fit. Fired up to max with sear grates. Worried about mat fusing to base. All good. Easy to wipe
off after. Maybe something good. ??

This is a poor advertisement for a grease mat; all I can think of are your strip steaks ?
Thanks, they were good. The mat did it’s job. Just started a pork butt Now in the stall. Just a matter of time. ???
 
Those look great. I can't find bone in NY steaks around here...
You gotta come to New York! ?. I actually like them boneless better. Get a better sear all around the steak. ??
