Thanks for all the good info on this forum; I've needed that info, and the advice of pellet grill friends. Just got my Recteq Bull almost a week ago and loving it so far (my first pellet grill). So far, have done ribeyes, smoked/reverse seared filets, hamburgers, sausage, and made pulled pork today (got up at 4 a.m.). Everything's turned out well so far, and I've learned a few tricks by combining some helpful tips from various experienced folks on this forum. Can't wait to try the pulled pork tonight!!! (Gonna do 2 next time; too much work for one pan of pulled pork). Lost my ribeye pics somewhere, but they were very good. Filets were too smoky tasting to my wife (can you imagine?).

Looks like you are off to a good start. My wife does’t like much smoke either so a pellet grill is perfect for us. I still use my drum every now and then when I need some heavier smoke flavor. Have fun with the new grill.
