I've been planning to cook a brisket this weekend as my daughters are coming down from college. A few days ago the wife asks if I can cook a second brisket so they can take one back with them. Hey! The 700 can handle this. No problem, right. So as my day goes & I start getting ready to prep my briskets, I see the wife pulling out some beef short ribs and the cast iron skillet.?? I ask what she is doing. She looks at me happy as can be and says, well I figured you could cook these for supper and I'm going to put my buffalo chicken cheese dip on there too. We are gonna have enough to feed an army. But here we are so far.

Great looking cooks!

Everything looks great. I don't know if it's enough to feed an Army but you can make a good run at half of the campus.

Results. The darker one was injected with italian dressing (my 1st time to ever inject a brisket) and the rub was salt and pepper only. the lighter one was not injected but marinated In italian dressing with a brisket rub. Both turned out tender and juicy
Another successful experiment.
