IOS App update 2.0.5

Updated my app to 2.0.5 and it seems to launch more quickly, and connect to my grill instantly. So far the app update looks good.

I really think they do listen. It’s helpful when you open a support case with them. The more information they collect from the field, the more they focus on it.

true.. if all the folks that have issues don't report it, they have no reason to pick up the magic 8 ball and read them.

Just updated my IOS app to 2.0.5, Build 826. It was 2.0.4, Build 738 previously, so this is definitely a new version. I’ll fire up the grill later and see if I can tell any difference. Thanks for the heads-up, @Hinkdad.

So I did a small spatchcocked chicken tonight after firmware and app updates. The cook was uneventful with no "pops", crazy smoke on startup, etc. I went at 225 until IT of 110, then cranked up to 400 to crisp the skin. The cook, including the shutdown was what any of us would expect from these things.

As this was a Wednesday, even the notifications worked!

I think it depends on your model, 2.1.2 is the latest for my 1250.

IPhone app still stinks. Can’t Recteq even figure out the graphs that don’t reset after each cook? Surely it can’t be that difficult if they even cared to figure it out.

Agree 100% it makes no sense to have the graphs when they don't work right, although so far the rest of app works pretty good IMHO.
