Stampede Can a recteq be installed into an outside kitchen?

Can a RT 590 be installed into an outside kitchen? My builder is saying no

It would be nice to know why he thinks it can't be done. If he has a bad attitude about it you might need a different contractor to get satisfactory results.
 
Dougfresh, is there any clearance under your hopper? I am getting mine Stampede today but when I look at the pictures it seems that the air for the induction fan is coming from under the hopper.

Unfortunately that’s not my outdoor kitchen. I do believe they took the legs off and there is space below the cooking chamber. Not sure about the hopper.

I would imagine that most outdoor built in situations will be custom built to some degree, so build to suit. Yes, you'll want to fab the support structure to allow access to the underside of the hopper/controller as that is the access area (you'll see it when you get it) for all the electronics through a panel the full size of the bottom in that area. It would be prudent to make it accessible without needing to remove the entire cooker from the cabinet/mounting platform.
