RT-1250 Anyone experiencing this?

So, I don't think this is normal. Anyone have a similar issue? During the entire run time at 225° my 1250 sounded like and performed like this. Then at the end of the smoke, black ash everywhere. Recteq believes it to be a fan issue so they have one enroute to me. Didn't even sound like the smoker was on.

The fan will sometimes cycle, especially if you have exceeded setpoint.

Yeah, I know it'll cycles to regulate temps. But this was the entire smoke. And it never stopped doing it. The smoker didn't even sound like it was on. It was just weird. It was doing even when temps stabalized.
 
Seems like more of a control(er) issue with both fans even auger doing that. Guess we will see but no.. have not seen that one before.
