Power anywhere: Why didn't I think of this before?

It seems like a very easy solution to have power anywhere! :D EDIT: It looks like my attempt at this joke was very horrible. :D. I meant to say that I could power my 1250 anywhere with this setup. Haha.

    Custom Programming

Pellet grills like the ones built by LoneStarGrillz allow for custom programming. I am aware that this feature has to do with the FireBoard controller, however, wouldn't this technically be possible via the app? Since the app is connected to the grill via WiFi, I don't see why we couldn't do...

RT-1250 What could cause temp dip in the beginning?

So during the past few cooks, my 1250 has had these temp dips when starting up (see attached screenshots). It will reach the temp and then go down before coming back up and maintaining the temp throughout the cook. What could cause this?

Pizza without heat deflector and drip pan?

Has anyone tried cooking pizza on a pizza stone by placing it on the bottom rack but without the heat deflector and drip pan so that the fire is hitting the pizza stone directly? I'm wondering if it would be safe. I'm assuming that low temp around 275 or so is needed if the stone is heated...

    RT-1250 1250 and sear kit

Hey all, I searched for this and couldn't find anything. The sear kit was delivered yesterday. I fitted it inside the grill making sure it was pushed all the way in. It still seems like the grease diverter bumps into the sear kit. Is this your experience as well? I may just have to put the...

RT-1250 RT-1250 Grease leak from the lid

Hey all, I'm new here. I have been thinking of getting a RT-1250 soon. I have watched tons of reviews on both RT-700 and RT-1250. One thing I have noticed is that the grease leak from the lid makes the stainless steel front look very bad. I thought RT-1250 was supposed to fix that with the...
