It seems that there is a common issue that the factory offset for the actual temperature is significantly higher on a lot of new RT-B380 grills. Some as much as 100 degrees off, which is what mine was. Some people complain or mention that their pork shoulder was done a few hours quicker than anticipated - Thats one indicator your grill is running too hot. Mine was about 80-100 degrees off and I wanted a video on how to adjust it and I didn’t see one sooooo I made one! I don’t know why Recteq hasn’t made one yet or any videos regarding it besides the assembly. Hope it helps out!
YOU MUST use ambient probe's for an accurate reading. Do not use meat probes for ambient temperature- they are not designed for that.
