Stampede WiFi without Internet

Hello.

I have my 590 setup in my barn. I have Wifi there but it does not connect to the internet. It joins my phone to my security system, brewing system and other items. I downloaded the app while at my house, but I cannot get the RecTeq app to connect my grill to the LAN. Does the app require internet access to Work? I sent a message in to support, but i dont think the service rep understood that i don't have internet, but do have a LAN.

Yes, the app requires access to the internet. Once your grill has internet access, the grill and your phone never connect directly. You will have an account on recteq’ s server, and the server is the go-between.
