I don’t know if I’m out of line, I don’t own a Rec-Tec YET, but someday, I hope to own one. Until then, it’s really too bad that Rec-Tec doesn’t sell their PID controllers to ‘do-it-yourselfers’ like me.
Theirs are definitely the coolest. I’m crying that I can’t put one on my Ugly Drum Barrel smoker.

Oops, I shouldn’t have called it an Ugly Drum. My barrel lays horizontally, so does the lame controller that came with the hopper assy/burner.
