Anything to be concerned of? New Stampede owner here. I don't plan to use this in inclement weather, however, it just happened while I was downstairs on a conference call.

Was doing some ribs at 250. Quick downpour came. Looks like the temp dipped to 210 then back up to 275 before eventually settling right back at 250.

Looks to have self corrected but want to be sure I didn't damage anything.

Maybe I am just paranoid as I don't want to ruin my new smoker or my ribs that I have on there.

My bull has been in the rain. My guess is there is nothing to worry about, with the grill or your ribs. RT is built tough, and the ribs just need to cook to temp.

My Bull went through 1.5 inches of rain in an hour last night and dropped a few degrees and then corrected itself!
