At the end of a 15 hour cook I wanted to slow progress so I lowered the temp and walked away, the bull has always been spot on. It did not like it, when I returned it was on 295 after dialing it down from 250 to 220. I opened the lid (which could have made it worse) to cool it off about 20 degrees. It kept this up for 45 minutes and now I have turned it to LO smoke to see what happens. I have read others who have low temp problems, any thoughts ????

If you’re doing a high heat cook and resetting to a low heat it just takes a while to burn all the pellets from the pot and let the barrel cool down. That’s why I generally do low first
