Bull Temperatures

Got the Bull smoker about 2 months ago and have been noticing everything takes longer than it's supposed to. Attributed it to meat size, humidity, etc but decided to check with my Thermoworks Smoke and found the temperature at the grates to be 30 degrees lower than the readout on the smoker. I knew there would be a difference but didn't think it would be that much. Anyone have any thoughts on this or is this normal?

This should take care of it, my Bull was the same way, I did the offset calibration and pit temperature vs actual is now dead on.
