Why not cook a Turkey today ?

We had a couple of Norbest (pre brined) turkeys in the freezer since Christmas, @.49 /lb

Holy cow, did you leave in the heart, liver, gizzard packet? I see the handcuffs on the turkey (the brown plastic thingy) and I know I can't reach in there with those still attached. I honestly thought that was just for the packing plant to make their job easier, not ours.

It’s been years and years ago now, but I’ll never forget when I did that! The giblets actually turned out well, just the same. I’ve never forgotten to pull out that button pops up thingy though!

Actually I un-cuffed the ankles, removed the packet and re-cuffed.

Although, I think I may have cooked organs in a chicken one time @SmokeOCD Lol

As far as seasoning, I applied this spice mix, very heavy handed.
I used it for Thanksgiving this year, An Amazon choice.
