Smoked Fish Recommendations?

I grew up in Florida and loved getting Smoked Mullet anytime I wanted it, but I'm now in the Northeast and can't get mullet up here. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a similar fish to mullet that would be good for smoking whole, filleted fish? I have an RT700.
 
For actual smoking filets my favorite is bluefish… killer pate options. Also good at higher temp covered with spicy mustard and Mayo.

Using higher temps my favorites are sword, salmon (numerous good ways) and miso black cod.

Since your in New England at some point try Maine hard shell lobster at grilling temps. Split it and partially crack claws. While grilling spoon melted butter with salt and pepper into it a few times. I don’t split it all the way thru, I cut from the face to the tail 90% of the way thru from the bottom (pulling out the guts) if it’s a female leave the roe in it. when the roe all turns from black to red it’s a sign it’s done.
