RT-590 Built-In

I recently purchased the RT-590 and want to build it into a counter in an outdoor kitchen. Does anyone have advice or suggestions for this project? Thank you,

Check out what this guy did with his 700. The hoppers are different. The only thing I can think is that you don't want to obstruct wherever the air intake is. Don't know if it is at the bottom of the hopper or underneath the grill somewhere on the auger.

Although anything is possible and can be done the RT 700 Bull would be a better choice for a built in grill due to the way the hopper position and the way the auger feeds the grill.

The air intake is under the hopper. I thought that I'd put 2" flagstone under the smoking chamber to create a space under the air intake and allow it to breath.

You want to have access under the hopper to get to the electronics should the need arise. Doesn't happen often normally, but no need to make it difficult on yourself if it is needed.
