Hi friends. Here is tonight's baby. The thing that's strange is that when I post pics, the pics post in reverse. The beginning is the last, and the first is the first. Let's see how the chronological order is this time. The temp seemed to max at 540 then it went up. What temps do yall get on the rec?

That's a great looking rib eye. You nailed the hatch marks. Can't tell you why but sometimes I get the Bull up to 600 and other times just 550-570 Not related to different pellets as i used lumberjack hickory and got 2 different high temps. Weather was about the same, too. Maybe ash in the firepot? No sure, but both were hot enough to give a good sear. Keep up the good work.
 
My compliments... when I cook those i badly want to go caveman! I cut the meat off the bone to slice for everyone else and want to take that bone and gnaw on it. Great cook!
 
Boy, that looks great! I had to learn the post pic thing. I would get the same result as you, just changed the order I post...
