I see where RECTEQ is trying to sell a #40 pellet dispenser for $50.00 I got my #40 dispenser for $15.00 or $16.00 last year at SAMS CLUB!

I also purchased a similar container for around $20, marketed as being for pet food, but seals well, has 2 different opening mechanisms (one smaller, one for the entire lid), and a small scoop that hooks onto the inside of the lid for storage. I love it for sure, and less expensive.

I went with 5 gallon buckets with air tight lids. I wanted the stackability....

I purchased the same container with locking lid and pour spouts at Tractor Supply for $12.99. (Same price for 20 pound oak pellets) $25 looked like a good deal.

To be fair, recteq's container bundle priced $49.49 comes with a 40 lb bag of pellets, which is currently $31.50. That makes it $17.99. Looking at the one mentioned at Sam's, it looks identical.

Yes it's more than the alternatives posted here, but it's not crazy expensive.

Keep in mind, these are toys. I remember in the '80s those $1 beanbag ashtrays had little designs on the fabric. At BoatsUS they had little anchors. 4 bucks. Pay it or don't. I don't.
