Bull Offset Setting

And go. Please teach me the good the bad.
the why to and do not.
I performed this offset setting adjustment on my Bull and I found my grills temperatures lower than selected, after this adjustment my Bull has been almost perfect and time to cook to done per recipes I was using was a lot better.

My 590 was right on from the beginning. But the Bullseye? not so. Ended up with +17 to even get close. Make sure you have an accurate ambient temp probe. I tested at center and about 1.5 inches off the grates. Also, set the temp you want and let the pit attain and sit on that setting for at least 1/2 hr before testing, as it takes a while to get the grates heated up. (take out the GrillGrates if you have them and they are inside as they get hotter than set temp).
