Happy to be a new owner of a Bull-700! Seriously haven’t felt like a kid at Christmas in 40-some odd years.
But...I do have a little worry after my first cook. First cook was four racks of ribs and a bacon-stuffed head of cabbage. Used the 3-2-1 method. First five hours was outstanding. Temp held perfectly, it was truly amazing. Not having to fight a fire was great.
Unwrapped ribs for the last hour. Happened to be outside and noticed the actual temp was 275 degrees (set for 225). I opened the lid and the temp dropped back down. Sat down and watched the temp rise back up to 250, opened the lid and brought it back down. Did this for another half hour before I pulled everything out.
Has anybody had this problem?
