Wow! I am very impressed with how this grill was packed and shipped. First, no issues with delivery; it was here on the promised day with notifications from both BBQGuys and the shipper (R+L Carriers) saying it was ”out for delivery.” When the truck arrived, the driver was very willing to roll it up our long driveway and into the garage,
There was not even a scuff on the box that was securely strapped to a pallet. Upon opening the box, I was amazed at the amount of well-designed packing material inside; cradles, dividers and small cartons with spacers to keep everything from shifting. And, each part was in a clear plastic bag; side, back and floor/top panels, main grill body, etc. After a very careful inspection, I was unablue to find a single scratch, dent or other blemish. Again, WOW!!!
I took my time unpacking all the pieces and checking them against the inventory. Everything was there. Due to the intricate packing, it took significantly longer to get it unpacked and the copious amount of cardboard cut up to fit in the recycle bin. As a result, this old guy decided it was time for a rest break. We have family coming over for an early dinner as we’re all going to an event this evening, so assembly will have to wait until tomorrow. I will do a read-through of the assembly instructions this afternoon so I’ll be ready for Act 2 tomorrow.
