Bull Lid bend

When I open the lid with my left horn the left side of the lid slightly lifts open before the rest of the lid. Basically it’s like the metal flexes before the whole lid opens. Doesn’t happen with the right horn, it seems to be more solid on that side. Anyone else experience this?

Both sides flex like that on my 340, not a lot, but it does it. I don't worry about it as it closes just fine.

Well yes that can happen when your lid hardware is not balanced and tight.. Adjust the top hinges...Problem fixed.. The heavy metal lid will not "flex" on one side and not the other... ie. will not bend by lifting one horn or the other... Bull 700 yea...

mine does the same thing. left horn will get flex alot more than right side when opening. maybe just needs adjustment. not sure. please let me know what you learn.

Easy fix, put a stiffener on the inside mounting between the horn hardware.

i thought about that also. could make a heavy duty drip edge to stiffen it up
