Just ordered the BFG 2500!!!

Pretty excited I just ordered a bfg today, I'm gonna add a fire box to the side eventually patiently waiting gonna order 6 or 8 briskets and a few butts for the test

With current meat prices, that much meat is going to cost almost as much as the grill!

I'm gonna just custom build one to match I'm gonna order some more handles for the door that I will add I just don't like the idea of pellets only, I have always been a weber guy and need the option of wood/ charcoal

I'm definitely gonna see what I can do first , I mainly smoked with wood and like the "heavy" smoke and I'm not expecting the the rectec to do that

it will not give the heavy smoke flavors. but is great at giving less smoke to chicken and fish. and a smoke tube or two with wood chips in it really helps.

a bfg is a lifetime investment! i love my 700 and its well build but the 2500 takes quality construction to another level. they really are built like a tank. have atleast 1 strong buddy to help and dont get drunk before you pick up the barrel unless you have 2 strong buddies
