Stampede How many racks of ribs fit?

They say 4 racks fit but is that true? I saw a review that claims the amount of burgers they say fit it off so I was wondering about ribs.

I’ve done 6 on my 700 without a rib rack. The 700 is 6” wider than the 590 so I would think you can do 4 without any trouble. You just have to watch the ends as they will be close to the edges of the drip tray where the heat rises up into the barrel. You may have to spritz more on the ends. Otherwise you can use a rib rack then 4 would fit easy.

Really depends on the size of the rib racks. I could not comfortably fit these 4 racks without using my jerky rack so they weren't crowded

4 babies isn't a problem, I typically only do 2 racks so I have plenty of room. I would imagine 3 racks of spares is doable, but you want space between ribs for most even cooking.

There's no shame in using a rib rack to hold them vertically. They taste just as good.

I got 6 baby’s on my 590 but it was snug until they shrunk up a little. They cooked perfectly but I had some additional clean up on the edges. No big deal though. I don’t usually cook that many but family and the holiday weekend dictated my decision. Hope this helps.
