Anyone know when they will have the Front Folding Shelf available to purchase for the RT590?

I don't know, but it's not very deep, so is limited on what you can put on it. Many people just buy folding brackets and attach a piece of wood that's much deeper than the stock one at 1/4 the cost so more money for the high price of meat these days

Just did mine with same brackets and 12 dollar stair tread 36 bucks and about 3 hours.

I bought the front shelf with mine and was disappointed- it’s pretty shallow…. If you can do a self made one like some have posted you will be much happier!

I also have the shelf and while it looks nice, it is shallow. If I were to do it over, I would go the DIY route.

You can always attach a deeper shelf on top of the stock shelf to make it more useful. Just consider the stock shelf as a very expensive folding shelf bracket
