So what kind of blanket? I've been thinking about one but it's the Panoxidized Felt type, which I thought i had read was better?

I got the one for the LG 900 which is a perfect fit for my 590.
The only modification it needed was to remove 2 of the tabs to clear the rear vents.
I have the model with the 3 vents on the back.
If you have the louvered type vents it may or may not work.
Here's what the back looks like:

First pork butt on the new smoker. It took 18hrs. I used this recipe: https://howtobbqright.com/2021/03/13/pulled-pork-on-a-pellet-grill/

One thing i noticed was the back half was much warmer then the front half. I'm not sure if it was because of the bone, or the door. Next time i think i'll rotate it when its got like 1-2 hours left to try and balance it out.
