Cooked my first butt on the RT-700. Was going to smoke it on the 1st, but weather calls for snow and ice, so I started it this afternoon at 3:00 pm. 8lb., 250 for 7 hours, hit stall at 160, then wrapped for another 2 hours, pulled off just after midnight on New Year’s Eve. Rested for 30 minutes, then pulled and chopped. Turned out great, delicious. Can’t wait to try with my North Carolina vinegar sauce. Sorry no after pic!
