Hello 1250 owner!
On your next grill cleaning, would you be kind enough to count how many holes are in your firepot.
Thanks,
Jigsaw
Yes, something seems to have changed, other than the firmware. The original firepots I think have 7 holes.Difference suspected?

You're most welcome! Enjoy the rest of your day and have a great weekend! Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time.
Thank you!I looked at mine today and mine has the same 7 holes that @Northbethesda1234 has in his. I bought mine the first day they were available to be purchased. I'm not sure about his/hers.
So, it appears that no changes were made to the firepot. I doubt they would change fans.
So, that leave only the 3 RPM auger motor and controller firmware upgrades.
Thanks to all!
Good point, I wonder if the 700 and 1250 use the same controller. Someone could check firmware version of their 1250Makes me think if someone with a 700 needs a replacement controller what they might get ..
Agreed!im just waiting for the day when the only deflector available is the cast iron. assuming it proves to be great in time
The cast iron deflector is a pretty big upgrade in my opinion. It holds heat so well.im just waiting for the day when the only deflector available is the cast iron. assuming it proves to be great in time
