Stampede 590 Beer Can Chicken on RT-590

How do you fit the chicken in the RT590? It’s too tall with the beer can.

I just cooked one tonight. 4.9 lbs
The beer can is flush with the bottom of the chicken. You can spread the legs a bit to bring the bird closer to the grate.
You may need to trim the tail off to reduce height as well.

The beer can is still in the bird shown in this picture.

No it was cooked directly on the grate.
