I pretty sure Rec Tec doesn't set the minimum feed rate on any of the grills when they ship it to the location It's going to. Its's very easy for the end user to set it to what works for them.Thanks. Maybe Rec Tec is going to change the preset to 3.0 or 3.5. Wonder if they change it based on what part of the country the grill goes to! No telling. I should get my Stampede next week and will check it too.

It is an online manual so I assume they are all the same. The manual says 6.5 preset from factory. Mine was set at 3.5.@marmadmax, thanks for your post, good info. On page 11 of your owner's manual, can you check and see what the Auger factory preset value is? Thanks.
