The cook turned out great, (my 2nd brisket). I used the tallow method when wrapping the brisket. The cooler also worked well. After letting the brisket rest in open air for an hour, (wrapped) I placed it in the cooler for an additional 3 hours. It was still warm when it came out and there...
I spent about a month researching coolers. I wanted one large enough to fit a half sheet pan. I also particularly looked for one that mentioned keeping things warm, which the Nurxiovo, (the one I finally purchased) did. I am hoping it doesn't warp since the Amazon ad...
Yes, it fits pretty good. If I remember, I will take some pictures of it on, tonight. One of the reviews on Amazon is from someone who states it fits their 700 as well.
I had my grill cover a few weeks before the Bull arrived, lol. I went with the Unicook, which was also about $28. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VG12YXS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Thank you! Good to know about the pellets. I bought the 220 lbs. deal RecTeq is currently offering, then I'll need to figure out what I'm going to use. I have the lava lock ready and waiting for the Bull to get here, tomorrow
Thank you. Great Info. I am looking into the ThermaPen now. I am blessed to have a near endless supply of gasketed lid buckets. I already planned to keep wood chips in them but now I will plan to keep the pellets in them too. Thanks Much!
Is there a approximate time table, by weight and temps, for smoking brisket? As someone very new, I am just trying to get an idea of how much time I should allow for smoking/resting a brisket, depending on weight, to plan between starting and eating. Thanks Much for any info.
