In reading the WiFi setup manual they specifically mention that 2.4 reaches farther than 5 so I'm guessing that's the reason.
I have other 2.4ghz devices in my house so it was surprising I had to jump through the hoops I did to get it connected because I didn't for those.

I can't get any info regardless of where in the UPS website I enter it. I feel like this is a case of the standard "I got an email saying my item shipped, but the label was just created and it hasn't really shipped yet"
How did your tracking go? I placed an order for an RT+590 this past Friday and got an email Monday this week that it had shipped.
