Has anyone added an adjustable vent to the optional smoke box? The objective would be to cool the cold smoke temperature. I am wondering what that might do the rt-700 operation.
1st time was after the 400 degree burn in. The second time was after cooking bacon at 350 degrees.

I just had a rt590 delivered today. I bought a bag of Webber pellets while I was at Lowes to use for my burn in. Twice today after shut down, the pellets continued to burn with a red glow and lots of smoke. Has anybody had this trouble with Webber pellets in a rt590?

I was going to seal the lid to keep it looking as new as possible. I found that liquid Bar Tenders Friend makes the smoke stains jump off the smoker and on to a rag. There is no need for a seal.
