It did! Good choice on the 1250.Wow!
I looked at the 1070 long and heard but went with the RT1250 as I was concerned the 1070 was too new and might have teething problems.

The last two Smokers I purchased from RT were discontinued shortly after I bought them. Not very pleased with RT right now.....1250 is discontinued now too
Did basically the same thing. It was froze solid. I had to take vice grips to the point it bent the shape of the auger attachment. I also used water in the fire pot to leach back into the tube the auger sits in. Beat it with a hammer and just messed with it for hours and it finally came loose. It is like concrete. I try to keep it clean now but it is a bad design and hard to service.Take off panel, take off motor, vise grips, turn counter clockwise. Then use something else like pipe or rebar and pound the pellets loose with a hammer. Only done it once. But plenty other incidents.
